The Keymile 37900005 is a genuine Keymile COGE1 core unit, the Gigabit Ethernet uplink and central switching card for the Keymile MileGate multi-service access platform. It provides two SFP cages and three RJ45 ports and acts as the subrack’s central Ethernet switch, aggregating traffic from the other line and service cards fitted in the same MileGate shelf up to the network side. MileGate subracks of this generation remain in service across established fixed-line access networks, and genuine core-unit spares are a routine requirement for restoring redundancy or maintaining an existing configuration.
