Chase Research was a British maker of serial connectivity hardware, based in Basingstoke, England. Perle Systems acquired Chase Research in February 2000, and Perle’s IOLAN terminal servers came from that purchase. Perle has been a subsidiary of Phoenix Contact since August 2016.
