The NEC MDUNITH1313D (H1313D) is an MD Unit, a multiplexer/demultiplexer card, from the NEC Pasolink NEO family of digital microwave radio systems. Pasolink NEO is NEC later-generation microwave transmission platform, supporting PDH, SDH and LAN/Ethernet interfaces across a wide range of frequency bands.

The MD Unit handles multiplexing and demultiplexing of tributary traffic within the indoor unit of the Pasolink NEO system, combining lower-rate signals for transport over the microwave link and separating them out again at the far end.
