The Newbridge 90-4909-36/E is an STM-1 interface card from the 90-4909 series for the MainStreet Xpress 36170 ATM switch. Cards in this series give the switch 155 Mbit/s STM-1 ATM ports that can be configured as a user-network interface facing customer equipment or as a network-node interface between switches, with electrical, multimode and single-mode builds distinguished by the last pair of digits.
