The Nokia 083689A is an FRGC Flexi RF Module, a radio transceiver unit for Nokia’s Flexi Multiradio WCDMA/3G base stations. It provides the transmit and receive radio stages between the Flexi system module and the antenna line, with fixed low-noise-amplifier gain on the receive path for cell-edge sensitivity. The module operates in the 2100 MHz band and mounts in a Flexi cabinet or on a wall, floor or pole with the appropriate kit, supporting up to three sectors and Remote Electrical Tilt. FRGC units are deployed in macro 3G coverage and capacity sites and are sourced through the secondary market for maintenance, expansion and spares.
