The Nokia 472956A is the FRGU, a Flexi radio frequency module (RFM) for the 2100 MHz band (Band 1). It is a high-power outdoor radio unit in a 6-transmit configuration delivering 360 W total (6 x 60 W), providing the WCDMA and LTE air interface and connecting to a Flexi or AirScale baseband unit over OBSAI/CPRI optical fronthaul. The unit is built in a passively cooled cast aluminium housing with an IP65 rating and a wide operating temperature range for outdoor tower, mast and rooftop sites. Within the Nokia Flexi Multiradio platform the FRGU supplies high-capacity 2100 MHz radio for the capacity layer of macro networks. It is supplied refurbished as an economical spare or expansion module.
