The Nokia DVGA 11 (468216A.104) is a Dual Duplex Filter unit for the GSM 900 MHz band, used within Nokia’s UltraSite EDGE base transceiver station (BTS) family. It combines a passive duplex filter with a variable-gain low-noise receive path, separating the transmit and receive signals on a shared antenna feeder while filtering out-of-band interference and providing controlled receive gain into the BTS radio subsystem.

Mounted at the top of the UltraSite EDGE cabinet close to the antenna connection, the DVGA reduces feeder and connector losses that would otherwise degrade uplink sensitivity, and helps the site meet regulatory out-of-band emission limits on the downlink. This class of module was widely deployed across 2G GSM 900 macro sites during Nokia’s UltraSite and UltraSite EDGE product generations.
