It combines transmitter, receiver and RF power amplification functions in a single field-replaceable module that plugs into the UltraSite EDGE cabinet, providing the radio-frequency transmit/receive path between the BTS baseband subsystem and the antenna line for a GSM/EDGE 1800 MHz sector.
