The Nokia 472501A is an FXEB, a Flexi RF Module for the 1800 MHz band used in Nokia Flexi Multiradio base stations. It is a triple-sector, software-definable radio module rated at around 90 W per path, supporting GSM, WCDMA and LTE operation selected by software. The FXEB provides the transmit and receive RF paths for three sectors, handling power amplification, filtering and transceiver functions for the 1800 MHz cell.

It connects to the Flexi system module over optical fibre and can be mounted remotely from the baseband unit, allowing the radio to sit close to the antenna to reduce feeder loss. The module belongs to the wider Flexi RF Module family that shares a common mechanical and interface design across frequency bands.
