The Nortel AA0005A19-E5 is a redundant power supply module for Nortel’s Redundant Power Supply Unit 15 (RPSU 15) chassis, a shared external backup-power bay used across the BayStack and Business Policy Switch (BPS2000) switch ranges. The RPSU 15 chassis houses up to three of these hot-swappable supply modules and, once cabled to a switch’s power connector, takes over automatically if the switch’s internal supply fails, keeping the port group live without a network outage. It is a common spare for sites running BayStack 350/450/470 or BPS2000 stacks where uninterrupted uptime matters. Confirm the RPSU 15 chassis is already installed and cabled before ordering a replacement module.
