Nortel DM1401133: Contivity 1740 Secure IP Services Gateway.

The Nortel DM1401133 is a genuine Nortel Networks Contivity 1740 Secure IP Services Gateway, terminating IPSec VPN tunnels and routing traffic at the network edge. The Contivity 1700 series is Nortel’s mid-range VPN router/gateway family, used for site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity in enterprise networks. Nortel equipment of this generation remains in active service across many established telecoms and enterprise networks, and genuine spares like this one are a routine requirement for restoring capacity, replacing a failed unit or expanding an existing installation. As with any legacy Nortel spare, specifiers should confirm exact hardware and firmware compatibility against their specific host system, shelf position and software load before ordering, since part revisions changed across the product’s production run. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) holds Nortel stock for maintenance, capacity and redundancy needs. Contact our sales team for availability.
