The Nortel NT8D35DC is a Network Module chassis for the Meridian 1 Option 81C multigroup PBX platform, providing network groups 1-4 (or 1-7 on release 25 and later) with additional loops and timeslots to increase the number of terminal connections the system can support. Each Network Module houses the network cards, junctors and cabling that give a group its switching capacity, and multiple modules are combined to build up a large multigroup Option 81C system.
