The Nortel NTAK11BD is the main / expansion cabinet (chassis) for the Meridian 1 Option 11C system. It is the metal enclosure and backplane into which the Option 11C cards install, providing the card slots, backplane connectivity and power-supply position that house a complete Option 11C node. Used as either the main cabinet or a stacked expansion cabinet, the NTAK11BD holds the Small System Controller, line and trunk cards and power supply, and it connects to further cabinets over fibre using the NTDK25 receiver and matching transmitter packs. The cabinet itself is the chassis and backplane; the call-processing intelligence sits on the controller card it houses. It is a legacy Option 11C component still required for maintaining and expanding installed systems. We supply the NTAK11BD refurbished and tested.
