The Nortel NTQA50EA is a power amplifier module for Nortel’s S8000/S12000 GSM Base Transceiver Station (BTS) range, part of the same NTQA-prefixed module family as the S8000/S12000 fan controller board. It provides the RF power amplification stage for the base station’s transmit path. Nortel’s S-series BTS power amplifiers were produced in several frequency-band and revision variants for GSM900/GSM1800 deployments.
