KX-TDA6178 Panasonic KX-TDA/TDE Series PBX Expansion Card

The Panasonic KX-TDA6178 is a 24-port single line telephone extension card designed for use with Panasonic’s KX-TDA and KX-TDE series hybrid IP-PBX systems. This card provides connections for up to 24 analogue single line telephone (SLT) devices, with integrated caller ID functionality on each port, enabling users to identify incoming callers before answering.

The KX-TDA6178 is intended for deployment in medium to large business telephone systems where a high density of analogue extension ports is required. It allows organisations to connect traditional analogue telephones, fax machines, and other SLT-compatible devices to their Panasonic PBX infrastructure whilst benefiting from caller identification features.

The Panasonic KX-TDA and KX-TDE series PBX platforms are now legacy systems, having been superseded by newer Panasonic communication platforms. However, many installations remain in active service, and expansion or replacement cards such as the KX-TDA6178 continue to be sought for maintenance and capacity upgrades.
