The Siemens S30122-K5950-S100-3 UPSM is a power supply module for Siemens HiCom 300 and HiPath 4000 communication systems. It converts mains input (115 to 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz) into the regulated DC voltages the system cabinet requires, delivering the main +5 V rail along with the auxiliary and -55 V outputs used by the line, trunk and control boards. The UPSM can be paired with a battery backup box to provide uninterruptible operation during a mains interruption. It is a power-supply component rather than a processor or control card. As a legacy Siemens module now part of the Unify portfolio, the UPSM remains in demand as a spare for maintaining installed HiCom 300 and HiPath platforms.
