The Siemens A30810-X2270-X-14-7411 is a DPC5 (Data Processor Controller 5) central processor board for the Siemens HiPath 4000 communication server and HiCom 300E systems. It acts as the system’s central control unit, running the call-processing and switching control software on an onboard CPU with local and flash memory. Introduced from HiCom 300E V3.0 onward, the DPC5 replaces the earlier DM3L, DM4L and DP4L processor boards and is backward compatible with them. It is a core control board rather than a peripheral interface, coordinating the operation of the surrounding line, trunk and peripheral modules in the cabinet. As a legacy Siemens board now part of the Unify portfolio, the DPC5 remains essential for maintaining installed HiPath 4000 and HiCom 300 systems.
