The Siemens S30807-Q5692-X100 is a PDM1 expansion miniboard for the HXGS3, HXGR3 and HXGM3 gateway boards used across the OpenScape Business X3R, X3W, X5R, X5W and X8 systems (the same HXGR3 gateway family as S30810-K2943-Z1). PDM1 connects into the host gateway board’s HGA (HiPath Gateway Accelerator) slot and adds eight further DSP channels, giving the system more simultaneous B-channel voice-processing capacity for calls or IP trunking than the unexpanded gateway board provides. It is also used as an expansion module for the standalone HG 1500 unit on the same platform, so the same board serves whichever host device a given site is running. As a miniboard fitted into another board’s expansion slot rather than a standalone card, it must be matched against the specific host gateway board and firmware version before ordering.
