The Siemens S30807-Q6931-X is a CMA clock submodule for the HiPath 3350 and HiPath 3550 systems, providing the DECT function needed to run cordless base stations with up to four channels per UP0/E port in the X3R, X3W, X5R and X5W software variants. CMA is specifically compatible with V2 mainboards and cannot be fitted to a V3 mainboard, a hard compatibility line that matters when sourcing a replacement rather than a detail to check afterwards. It has since been superseded on later hardware by the CMAe submodule (S30807-Q6957-X), so a system running a V2 mainboard needs this exact CMA variant rather than its newer replacement. As a submodule it must be fitted to a compatible host board rather than installed standalone. Genuine Siemens submodules of this kind remain a routine requirement for maintaining DECT cordless coverage on older HiPath 3350/3550 mainboard generations.
