The Siemens S30810-Q2113-X000-03 is a QDCL (Quad Data Communication Link) board for the Hicom 300 and HiPath 4000 communication systems. The QDCL provides the data interface between the peripheral side of the system and the central data processing unit, carrying inter-shelf and control data links rather than subscriber telephone lines. It is used where the platform needs additional data communication paths between its processing and peripheral units. This -X000-03 hardware revision is interchangeable within the same system role. Note this is a data-link board, not a subscriber line card. This is legacy Siemens equipment from before the Unify rebrand; the systems remain in service in many sites but the boards are no longer produced, so the QDCL is a maintenance spare.
