3Com 3C10402B NBX / VCX Business Telephone Platform SIP Handset

The 3Com 3C10402B is a 3Com NBX 3102B business phone, a third-generation IP telephone for the 3Com NBX 100 and VCX platforms. It carries 18 programmable buttons for line appearances and custom features, plus 10 fixed feature keys giving one-touch access to mute, transfer, speaker and hold. A 2-line LCD display supports on-phone programming and status information, and the phone supports wideband audio codecs for clearer call quality than a standard PSTN handset. Power is delivered over the RJ-45 Ethernet connection via IEEE 802.3af PoE, and a built-in 2-port 10/100 Ethernet switch lets a desktop PC share the same network drop as the phone. A full-duplex speakerphone rounds out the feature set for natural hands-free calls. It’s a direct successor to the original 3102 (3C10402A) and is functionally similar, making it a good match for extending an existing NBX/VCX estate.
