The IBM 00E1681 is a PCIe2 4-port 1GbE Ethernet adapter, CCIN 576F, in a low-profile form factor. It provides four 1Gb/s RJ-45 Ethernet ports over a PCI Express 2.0 x4 host interface.

The adapter gives IBM Power Systems servers four Gigabit network connections from a single PCIe slot, which suits servers that need several separate network links. IBM publishes microcode updates for the card.
