The IBM 78P1011 is a 2GB DDR3-1066 (PC3-8500) ECC Registered DIMM, single rank x8, 240-pin, for eligible IBM Power-series systems. It provides additional working memory or replaces a failed module to restore a system’s configured memory capacity, and is IBM’s smallest-capacity DDR3 module in this generation’s lineup, typically used where memory requirements are modest or where budget-constrained configurations call for the minimum supported density.
