The IBM 78P0639 is a 16GB DDR3-1066 (PC3L-8500R) ECC Registered DIMM, quad rank, 1.35V low-voltage, 240-pin, one half of IBM’s feature code EM32 32GB memory kit (two 78P0639 modules installed as a pair). It fits the memory slots of eligible IBM Power servers including the 8231-E2B (Power 710/730), 8233-E8B (Power 750), 8236-E8C (Power 755), 8202-E4C and 8205-E6C, providing additional working memory or replacing a failed module to restore configured memory capacity. Because EM32 is shipped as a matched pair, both modules in a kit should be replaced together where the system’s memory configuration requires it.
