The IBM 98Y8009 is an 800-watt AC power supply for the EXP2524 and EXP2512 storage expansion enclosures, also used in the Storwize V3700 platform. It carries firmware revision FW 323.

EXP2524/EXP2512 expansion drawers and the Storwize V3700 controller enclosure both take redundant hot-swap power supplies of this type, so a failed unit can normally be replaced live without taking the storage system offline, provided the surviving supply can carry the full drawer load during the swap.
