3Com 3C6010A SuperStack/OfficeConnect/Switch 8800 networking Switch / Carrier Ethernet Line Card

The 3Com 3C6010A is the Communications Engine Card (CEC) for the 3Com NETBuilder II modular router chassis, the board that carries the router’s main AMD 29000 RISC processor and fits the chassis’s dedicated wide top slot. The NETBuilder II was 3Com’s enterprise WAN routing platform through the 1990s, widely deployed for multiprotocol routing across leased lines, X.25 and early WAN links, and the CEC is the single card every populated chassis depends on: without it, the interface modules in the remaining slots have nothing to route through. Because it is a single-source item tied to one specific chassis generation, a spare is important cover for sites still running NETBuilder II hardware in production. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) verifies every NETBuilder II card before it is listed. Please contact our sales team for current stock and pricing.
