The Symbol AP-5131-13041-WWR is a Symbol AP-5131 dual-radio wireless access point in the worldwide (WWR) build, supplied with an 802.3af Power over Ethernet supply. The dual-radio version runs 802.11a and 802.11b/g at the same time, so one unit can serve clients in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, or serve data on one radio while the other scans for rogue access points.

The AP-5131 was designed as a standalone unit for small offices and retail sites, integrating a router, DHCP server, stateful inspection firewall, VPN endpoint and QoS engine rather than depending on a central controller. Symbol Technologies was bought by Motorola in 2007 and the wireless LAN line later passed to Zebra and then to Extreme Networks. The product is end of life and served from held stock.
