The Keymile ROFBU 367 397/1 is a TUPON subscriber line interface card for the Keymile UMUX platform, supplied against part number ROFBU 367 397/1 and used in GSM-R applications. TUPON terminates analogue telephony circuits onto a UMUX subrack, carrying them over the same access transport as the rest of the site’s services. In GSM-R networks that is how trackside and operational telephony is brought back over the access infrastructure that also serves the radio system.

UMUX is a modular multiservice access platform, taking TDM, ATM and IP service cards in a common subrack. It originated with Ascom and continued under Keymile, so labelling and documentation appear under both brands.
