The Huawei 023GBW TNZ5UXCMS is the system control, cross-connect and clock board (UXCMS) for the Huawei OptiX OSN 1800 optical transport platform. It acts as the core control unit of the OSN 1800 subrack, combining main control, cross-connection, timing and communication functions on a single board.

The board provides up to 40 Gbit/s of lower-order cross-connect capacity and switches ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, 2e, flex, 3, 4), OSUflex and SDH VC-4/VC-3/VC-12 services, together with packet switching for Ethernet traffic. Integrated clock processing keeps network timing synchronised across nodes, while the CPU and control module handle system management, overhead and monitoring.
