ZTE R8852 /E (R8852E) 1800 MHz LTE remote radio unit for ZXSDR base stations.

The ZTE R8852 /E is a compact outdoor remote radio unit (RRU) from ZTE’s ZXSDR / UniRAN radio access portfolio, designed to operate in the 1800 MHz frequency band. Working with a ZXSDR baseband unit (BBU) over a CPRI optical fibre link, it handles radio frequency transmission and reception at the antenna site, converting digital baseband signals to and from RF for the air interface. The R8852E is a software-defined radio unit supporting LTE operation with high integration and output power in a small form factor, powered from a nominal -48V DC supply. Site-mounting the RRU close to the antenna reduces feeder loss and improves coverage. As a widely deployed LTE radio unit it remains in demand for maintaining and expanding installed ZTE networks.
