Huawei WP11DPUF OptiX OSN/PTN Series Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP11DPUF is a DPUf, a Data Processing Unit board for the Huawei BSC6900 base station controller and the RNC6900 and BSC6910 platforms. As a service processing board it handles user-plane and control-plane traffic within the controller subrack, providing the data and signalling capacity that manages calls, packet sessions and mobility across the connected GSM and UMTS radio access network. It is a processing board, not an optical transmission or cooling module. The DPUf installs in a PARC subrack alongside the switching (SCU), clock (GCU) and operation and maintenance (OMU) boards, and controller capacity scales with the number of DPU boards fitted. Data Processing Units are a routine maintenance and expansion spare for operators running BSC6900 and RNC6900 controllers.
