The NEC 640073 is the GPZ-IPLE VoIP resource daughter board for the NEC UNIVERGE SV9100 communications platform. It provides the voice (RTP and RTCP) processing that allows IP telephones and SIP trunks to interwork with the system’s digital PCM circuits.

The GPZ-IPLE mounts directly onto the GCD-CP10 main processor card. It delivers 16 VoIP channels and 4 SIP trunk ports as standard, and expands to 32 VoIP channels when the 16-channel VoIP resource licence is added. It is an essential component for any SV9100 deployment that uses IP endpoints or SIP connectivity.
