3Com 3C10402A NBX / VCX Business Telephone Platform SIP Handset

The 3Com 3C10402A is a 3Com NBX 3102 IP business telephone, designed as a desk phone for the 3Com NBX 100 and VCX telephony platforms. It has an intuitive, menu-driven interface with a 2-line, 160 x 33 pixel graphic display, three softkeys and a four-way navigational scroller, alongside 18 programmable buttons for line appearances and feature access. The 3102 includes a full-duplex speakerphone for genuine two-way hands-free conversations, and its acoustic design supports wideband audio for clearer call quality than a standard PSTN handset. Two built-in 10/100 Ethernet ports let it sit inline with a desktop PC on a single network drop. Power comes either from an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or a dedicated 3Com power supply, giving installers flexibility depending on the existing network infrastructure. As a purpose-built endpoint for 3Com’s NBX/VCX systems, it’s most useful to organisations maintaining or expanding an existing 3Com telephony estate.
