The Nortel NTFN33DA is a Passport Control Processor 2 (CP2) module fitted with an EIDE disk, used in Nortel’s Passport 6400/7400/8000-series data switching platforms.

The CP2 card provides the control-plane processing for the Passport shelf, running the switch’s operating software and managing configuration, routing and system control functions, with the onboard EIDE disk holding the software image and configuration data. It is part of the same control processor family as the NTFN33BD (Passport 6480) and NTFN33GA/HB variants used across related Passport shelves.
