The HP JE048A is the HP E4500-48-PoE, a Layer 2 managed stackable Fast Ethernet switch with 48 ports of 10/100Base-TX PoE plus 2 SFP (mini-GBIC) uplink ports, in a 1U rack-mountable chassis.

The switch supports true stacking of up to 8 units for a combined 384 10/100 ports under single-IP management, with distributed aggregated links providing uplink resiliency, and PoE on every access port for phones, access points and cameras.
