3Com Switch 7700 20-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Module.

The 3Com 3C16863 is a 20-port Gigabit Ethernet interface module for the 3Com Switch 7700 chassis, providing 20 x 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports over Category 5 cabling.

The module supports on-board Local Layer 2 switching at 40 Gbps between ports on the same module, keeping local traffic off the chassis backplane and switch fabric to reduce congestion. It supports IEEE 802.3z, 802.3x, 802.3ad, 802.1p, 802.1D and 802.1Q standards for link aggregation, flow control and VLAN tagging.
