The HP 460850-001 is a 72GB SAS hard disk drive in HP’s 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF) design, spinning at 10,000 RPM with a dual-port SAS interface running at up to 3Gb/s. Supplied hot-swappable with its carrier tray, it is built for HP ProLiant Gen6 and Gen7 servers including the DL180, DL320, DL360, DL370, DL380, DL385 and DL580, as well as the ML110 and BL465c blade platform. The dual-port SAS design lets the drive stay connected to a secondary storage controller path, giving continued access if one path fails, which matters in redundant array and cluster configurations.
