The HP 365695-009 is a 300GB 10,000RPM Ultra320 SCSI hard disk drive in HP’s 3.5-inch large form factor (LFF) hot-swap tray, built for HP ProLiant and Integrity servers of the mid-2000s generation that use the 80-pin LVD SCSI backplane. Ultra320 SCSI delivers up to 320MB/s of interface bandwidth with an 8MB onboard cache, and the 10K spindle speed gives consistent, low-latency access suited to file servers, database workloads and RAID arrays where sustained throughput matters. The drive is hot-pluggable, so it can be swapped in a live server or storage enclosure without an outage, and it ships pre-mounted in HP’s standard tray for direct drop-in replacement. Although Ultra320 SCSI has since been superseded by SAS in newer platforms, a large installed base of legacy HP ProLiant and StorageWorks equipment still relies on drives of this specification for ongoing operation and spares support.
