The Huawei H901EPHF is a 16-port EPON interface board for the Huawei SmartAX MA5800 series next-generation OLT platform, applicable to the MA5800-X2, MA5800-X7, MA5800-X15 and MA5800-X17 chassis. The board works together with EPON-compatible optical network units (ONUs) to deliver EPON access services over fibre, and each of its 16 ports can support up to 64 subscribers, giving a maximum of 1,024 ONUs per board.

The H901EPHF is fitted with PX20++ class SFP optical modules, providing optical launch power in the region of 5dBm to 9dBm for extended reach and split-ratio performance. The board is designed for carrier environments, with an operating temperature range of -40 degrees C to +65 degrees C and a minimum startup temperature of -25 degrees C, and it runs from a -53.5V DC supply typical of Huawei OLT chassis power architecture.
