The Huawei H901XGBD is an interface board in the same H90x/H80x optical board family as the Huawei H901XGHD and H801XGBD, which are documented XG-PON interface boards used in Huawei’s MA5800 series next-generation OLT (optical line terminal) platforms. Boards in this family fit the MA5800 chassis alongside other service and uplink boards, providing PON-side optical access interfaces that connect the OLT to ONTs/ONUs over passive optical fibre networks, with each board variant in the series (identified by its suffix, such as XGHD, XGBD or XEBD) representing a specific port count, split ratio or optical budget configuration within the same board family.
