The Huawei H901GPSF is a 16-port GPON interface board for the Huawei SmartAX MA5800 series next-generation OLT platform, applicable to the MA5800-X2, MA5800-X7, MA5800-X15 and MA5800-X17 chassis. The board works with GPON-compliant optical network units (ONUs) to deliver gigabit passive optical network access services, with a total forwarding capability of 40 Gbit/s across its 16 ports.

Each port operates at the standard GPON line rate of 1.244 Gbit/s upstream and 2.488 Gbit/s downstream, and supports a maximum split ratio of 1:128, allowing a single board to serve up to 2,048 subscribers. The maximum distance difference between two ONUs on the same PON port is 40km, and the board accepts B+, C+ and C++ class SFP optical modules depending on the reach required.
