The Nortel NT7B65KS is a DECT 4145 cordless handset, part of the Nortel (later Avaya) DECT wireless telephony range built to work alongside a Nortel/Avaya DECT base station and PBX for on-site mobility. It provides standard DECT voice functionality (calling, messaging and basic call-handling features) for users who need to move around a site while staying reachable on the office phone system. DECT 4145 handsets remain in service at a number of legacy Nortel/Avaya PBX sites, and genuine spares of this type are a routine requirement for maintaining an existing DECT fleet as handsets wear out or are lost.
