The Avaya 700228141 is a 48-port 10/100Base-T switching module with two SFP Gigabit uplink ports, built for the Avaya Cajun P-series chassis to add high-density Fast Ethernet edge ports alongside a pair of fibre or copper Gigabit uplinks. The 48 fixed RJ45 ports handle desktop and access-layer connections, while the two SFP-based uplinks connect the module back to the chassis’s core switching or to an upstream network, with the SFP slots accepting whichever transceiver type the deployment’s cabling requires. It is a like-for-like replacement or capacity-expansion module for an existing Cajun P-series chassis.
