Avaya 700500758 IP Office 500 V2 PBX Card / Module

The Avaya 700500758 is the IP500 TCM8 base card, an eight-port digital station card for the Avaya IP Office 500 V2 platform. It provides eight TCM (Time Compression Multiplexing) digital station ports for connecting Nortel Norstar and BCM digital telephones, including the M7000 and T7000 series handsets, the Nortel Digital Mobility Solution and the T7406 cordless phones. The card is aimed at migration scenarios, letting a business moving from a Norstar or BCM system to IP Office keep its existing Nortel digital phones rather than replace them. It fits a base-card slot in the IP500 V2 control unit and, like other IP500 base cards, can accept an IP500 trunk daughter card that adds trunk ports on four further RJ45 connections. It requires IP Office release 7.0 or later, is not supported in the IP500 V1 control unit, and a maximum of four TCM8 cards can be fitted per system.
