Avaya 700359896 IP Office IP400/IP500 Series PBX Card / Module

The Avaya 700359896 is an IP Office Phone 8 V2 expansion module, adding eight Plain Ordinary Telephone (POT) ports to an Avaya IP Office control unit for connecting standard analogue phones, fax machines or other analogue devices. It’s an external expansion unit rather than an internal card, and connects to the control unit to extend analogue port capacity beyond what’s built into the base unit.

The Phone 8 V2 is compatible with the IP403, IP406 V1, IP406 V2 and IP412 control units, as well as the IP500 control unit running Professional Edition (R9.1 and earlier), making it a common upgrade for sites that need more analogue extensions than their control unit provides natively, for example to support older analogue handsets, fax lines, or door entry systems alongside a digital or IP phone estate. It’s powered by an earthed 3-pin 60W external power supply, supplied separately.
