The Ericsson KDUBS13006/1 is a FECU V3 Basic (Fan and Environment Control Unit), designed to manage thermal regulation and environmental monitoring within Ericsson radio base station (RBS) cabinet systems. This unit controls cooling fan operation and monitors cabinet temperature to ensure optimal operating conditions for sensitive telecommunications equipment.

The FECU V3 Basic is deployed in Ericsson RBS 2000 and RBS 6000 series base station installations, where it provides essential climate control functionality. It manages fan speed based on temperature readings and can generate alarms when environmental parameters fall outside acceptable thresholds.
