KDUBS13013/1 Ericsson Ericsson RBS Base Station Module

The Ericsson KDUBS13013/1 is a Fan and Environment Control Unit (FECU) designed for use in Ericsson Radio Base Station (RBS) systems. This module is responsible for thermal management and environmental monitoring within the base station cabinet, ensuring optimal operating conditions for the radio equipment.

The FECU monitors temperature levels within the enclosure and controls fan speed accordingly to maintain proper cooling. It also provides environmental status reporting to the base station controller, enabling proactive maintenance and fault detection for critical mobile network infrastructure.

This is a legacy unit from Ericsson’s earlier generation RBS platforms. While these systems have been superseded by newer LTE and 5G infrastructure, the KDUBS13013/1 remains essential for operators maintaining existing 2G and 3G networks where Ericsson RBS equipment is still deployed.
