ROF1575112/2R2D Ericsson Ericsson AXE Telecom System Card

The Ericsson ROF1575112/2R2D is a REG (Register) board designed for use within Ericsson AXE digital switching systems. Register boards handle the reception and storage of dialled digit information during call setup, playing a critical role in the call processing and routing functions of the exchange.

This module is intended for deployment within Ericsson AXE-series telephone exchanges, which have been widely used by telecommunications operators for public switched telephone network (PSTN) infrastructure. The register function is essential for interpreting subscriber dialling and facilitating correct call routing through the switching fabric.

The AXE platform is a legacy system that has been in service with major telecoms carriers globally since the 1970s.
