It was formerly sold as the 3Com Baseline Switch 2816 (3CBLUG16A) and shares the same 16-port unmanaged Gigabit hardware, with auto-negotiated port speed and auto MDI/MDI-X cable detection for plug-and-play installation, and fanless operation for quiet, low-power always-on use.
