This board provides Gigabit Ethernet service processing capabilities, enabling the transport of Ethernet traffic over SDH/MSTP networks with efficient bandwidth utilisation and service mapping.

The SSN1PEGB board is typically deployed in OptiX OSN 3500, OSN 2500, and OSN 1500 series multiplexing equipment, where it facilitates the convergence of Ethernet and TDM services onto a unified optical transport infrastructure.
