020TDR Huawei OptiX OSN Telecom System Card

The Huawei 020TDR is an SSN1PEGB Gigabit Ethernet processing board designed for use in Huawei’s OptiX OSN optical transmission platform. This board provides Gigabit Ethernet service processing capabilities, enabling the transport of Ethernet traffic over SDH/MSTP networks with efficient bandwidth utilisation and service mapping.

The SSN1PEGB board is typically deployed in OptiX OSN 3500, OSN 2500, and OSN 1500 series multiplexing equipment, where it facilitates the convergence of Ethernet and TDM services onto a unified optical transport infrastructure. It supports GFP encapsulation and virtual concatenation for flexible bandwidth allocation.

This board represents Huawei’s established SDH/MSTP product line, which continues to support legacy transport networks across enterprise and carrier deployments. Whilst newer packet-optical platforms are now available, the OptiX OSN series remains in widespread use for existing network maintenance and expansion projects.
